How this site works
This is a knowledge base, not a feed. Each piece says what it is, how sure I am, and what would make me more sure. Here is how that works. About me is a short read.
The publication gate
A piece appears here only when two things are both true: its
status is published and its sensitivity is public. Editorial readiness and clearance to disclose are separate
questions. Either one missing keeps a piece off pages, search,
the feed and the sitemap.
Maturity levels
Every piece carries the level it has reached, so you know how much weight to put on it.
- Question. Something worth asking. No answer yet, and no claim made.
- Working theory. A best current explanation. Reasoned, not yet tested.
- Experiment. Tested once, in a stated setup. The method is shown; one run is not proof.
- Evidence. Results that held up, with sources or data a reader can check.
- Practitioner guidance. Evidence turned into steps you can act on, grounded in real practice.
The evidence ledger
Some pieces show a box called "What would move this forward". It lists what a piece still needs to reach its next maturity level, and marks each need open or met, with the evidence beside it.
Modes
Content is grouped by what you want to do with it.
- Learn. Build understanding of a topic.
- Apply. Put an idea to work in your own program.
- Explore. Follow open questions, experiments and research in progress.
- Use. Frameworks and tools you can pick up and run.
Relationships
Pieces link to each other with a stated reason, not just "related".
- explains. Makes another piece easier to understand.
- applies. Puts another piece's idea into practice.
- tests. Checks another piece's claim.
- implements. Builds what another piece describes.
- supports. Adds evidence or backing to another piece.
- updates. Revises an earlier piece.
- supersedes. Replaces an earlier piece.
- see-also. Related reading, no stronger claim.
AI transparency
